This is a list provided by the American Library Association of banned or challenged classics. By no means does it incorporate all of the banned books worldwide or even in this nation. Also be aware that I might change some of these books to be a little more contemporary for my own enjoyment. Of course I will attempt to ascertain that they have been banned or challenged. However, I find that I am lucky that I had already read some of these books because I remember hating some of them (see #3).
Visit the ALA at http://www.ala.org/ for more information regarding banned/challenged books.
